and the GOP leadership has to know that.

I see them playing nice, letting Huckleberry win a few, but there is mathematically no way he can win the nomination right now. I read somewhere that he'd have to win about 84% of the remaining delegates, and that just isn't going to happen.

In the end, the PTB in the GOP will probably give Huckleberry the VP slot, figuring he'll bring in the abortion clinic bombers for the general election. That's what I hope, at least.

2 old white men running for the GOP. We'll take >40 states ...

4. I agree with you. However, the GOP leadership also wants to give McCain time to gin up for us.
Hillary or Obama. As long as Huck stays in McCain has to expend time, energy and money fighting him off. I don't think they want this to continue to long because the man is not a spring chicken.
