Raising Kaine: Exit Polls
holy cow.

66% : 34% - if that holds - the delegate split will not be kind to Clinton.

"I'm also hearing that Obama's winning big in Maryland, with one reliable source quoting a 63%-35% Obama margin in the exit polls."

More than 20% in two states. I never thought they spread would be that big. I am very interested to see if the numbers pan out that way.

6. Welcome to DU!!!
Kinda looks that way, doesn't it?

I would LOVE to be able to be done with this, so we could all unite and march shoulder-to-shoulder to the convention ALREADY KNOWING we have ONE standard-bearer rather than two quibblers. The sooner we can get to that point, the better, especially while mccain is now being utterly bedeviled by gomer - who refuses to give up and go away (as we all pray he would).

4. congrats
Everyone knew it was gonna be a big night for Obama. Please don't try and blow this up like it is a big shock. Prime real estate for obama as well as the rest of the month. It is given. There sould be no more shockers.

But congrats on a good night!

10. No one thought it would be this big
you have to admit that.

This is a big loss that Clinton did not expect, delegate-wise.

3. If those numbers are right, HRC is in trouble. With a capital T
The country is saying loud and clear we need change, and change comes with Obama, not Hillary

8. actually, since she's over 30% she gets a sizeable amount already
if she breaks 40% she gets more, but as long as she doesn't dip under 30% she'll be fine.

11. I fully expected her to hit 40% - he is looking at 2:1 in delegates right now.
Edited on Tue Feb-12-08 08:04 PM by FLDem5
I think her camp was hoping for a delegate draw. But 14:7 is crushing.

No way that a delegate draw will happen now - he will be +50 even with SDs counted, if this holds. Not that it will - again they are exit polls.

9. this is important. Note the exit polls, then compare them to the final tally tomorrow
I'm for Obama, but only a fool wouldn't look for the Bradley effect.
