Clinton is giving a very good speech at the moment.
Her voice is hoarse, but she's doing very well, IMO. It's good to see her pushing the issues strongly.

Or to pay Bill's fee for speeches?

6. Well, she knows all eyes are on her right now
She's doing what she needs to; i'm sure she knows the media will be spending the rest of the night talking about Obama's huge win. She might as well get in a good primetime speech.

7. THANK YOU :)
"We have the sun! We have the wind! We can make our own energy with what we have right here in Texas!"

Loved that line! She has so much to offer... tonight has been very disheartening.

8. She said...
Grow our fuel in Texas.

I wasn't aware Texas had the soil for it. Am I wrong ?

Let's see if Obama responds.

18. I think if she had talked like this and not gone strong negative, she would have won IA
and likely would have wrapped up the nomination after NH.

12. She's not telling us how she differs from Obama.
Obama says why he's a better candidate than Hillary. Why doesn't she do the same?

Does the comparison make her look bad? Is she already preparing for the general when she has to unite behind Obama?

15. Yeah, she is. She took an "all hat no cattle" swipe at him (hidden in a jab at Bush), and after
that went into a bunch of policy plans.

16. Good speach and a big LIE
Edited on Tue Feb-12-08 09:25 PM by harun
She went on about how she was the right person to bring about Universal Health care. Her stated plan is NOT Universal Health care. It is forced for-profit Health Insurance. What a load of crap.

The DLC itself states as one of their primary positions it is not for Single Payer Universal Health Care.

21. No, it's easier to give her credit when she goes positive.
She goes negative when it's contested; she goes positive when she's far behind or far ahead. I like her when she goes positive; when she goes negative we of course get defensive.
