CNN has pledged delegates as: Obama 1078/Clinton 969
Edited on Tue Feb-12-08 11:12 PM by CreekDog
edited to correct using website totals.

That means if she hopes to catch up with TX and OH she needs 57% and that's only if she ties in all other contests.

14. Yes, 59 and it is winner-take all
Hillary is down by only 101 and most of that margin can be erased in Puerto Rico, if it isn't erased in big states like Ohio, Texas, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina yet to vote.

5. I am sick and fucking tired of them padding Clinton's #'s by including a FEW superdelegates
it is dishonest.

8. If she gets the nomination from superdelegates while he wins pledged, it's a disaster for the party
How many people would stay home?

7. Yes, Obama is about 200 delegates ahead among earned delegates.
She isn't winning Texas.

We will be the knock-out punch that sends her to the mat for good.

9. And those are not the complete numbers yet. Maryland only has counted
13% of their vote, so the actual allocation of delegates isn't even close to complete. Not sure how complete DC and Virginia numbers are yet.

10. Wrong...Here's what they have:
Obama's wins give him more delegates than Clinton. According to CNN calculations, Obama has 1,195 delegates to Clinton's 1,178.

To clinch the Democratic nomination, a candidate must get 2,025 delegates.

Obama had led in pledged delegates, but Clinton had held the lead when superdelegates were factored in.

Edited on Tue Feb-12-08 11:01 PM by joshcryer
She's 100 pledged delegates behind. She needs to beat Obama by at least 41% in TX, PH, and OH to be able to take the lead by a significant margin (100-200 delegates), then she's OK.
