Wisconsin: Keep an eye on the crossover vote
Open primary here and I’m sure that the right wing-nuts will be eager to cast a ballot for Billary since McCain has the GOP nomination locked up, and they know he can’t beat Obama.

Most of them probably don't want to really vote for McCain anyway, and this will be a form of protest.

Here’s an editorial on the issue: http://www.leadertelegram.com/story-opinions.asp?id=BFOQUGM4AH8

<SNIP>

“Crossover primary voting is strategic, not unpatriotic. Remember to vote next Tuesday, but be sure to do it within the confines of your political party's primary. That, apparently, is the rule local party leaders want voters to follow in next week's Wisconsin presidential primary. Never mind that Wisconsin has an open primary, which means that, when it comes to the voting booth, none of us has a party affiliation. Those who vote Tuesday will be given both major parties' ballots (though, of course, only one can be used). Despite literally being handed the opportunity to pick among another party's hopefuls, we shouldn't be tempted to meddle or make mischief, these political sages say.”
