Obama gave his best speech EVER tonight!
He mixed the message of "hope" with a practical/populist theme. He reached out to every day America and talked about the issues directly effecting us "Americans." He also took on McCain and linked him to George Bush in terms of policy.

The speech was not only inspirational, but it was politically brilliant! I think that Obama is looking like the "experienced" candidate right now. And, If this is where he's going with his campaign, he will SMOKE John McCain.

Lastly, as much as I love Edwards platform, if Obama had spoken in these terms from day one, I may have supported him from the get go?

Anyone else have the "Chris Matthews leg chill" inspiration going tonight? ;) (An inside joke for those who watched MSNBC cover the speech.)

4. He's always great, and tonight was good. Maybe I'm
getting tired, but he's done better. I still loved the 18K crowd shot compared to Mac's 6. Actually 5.5, since Warner looked ready to croak. (I know, I'm bad)

6. Much more substance tonight. Direct hits on McLame, corporate lobbyists, helping the poor.
Thank you John Edwards. Your message lives on.

12. It was truly wonderful
and juxtaposed to John McCain's old, tired and small gathering, I truly believe Obama can win the GE.

McCain is so weak and lame, he even had to steal the NACCP/Obama's "fired up, ready to go" mantra.

14. It was almost sad to see McCain's "three" supporters standing behind him.
I feel much more confident in Obama's reach after seeing his speech tonight.

13. I disagree. Iowa was moving, NH the same, and Super Tuesday was incredible. Tonight wasn't the best
