I believe Obama has the nomination
He certainly is working every single demographic out there. He will also be able to pick up some republican votes in a general election and possibly some red states. Clinton has certainly lost momentum. She cannot start a negative campaign now that will sink her even further. More of the same from her is not going to help either. There is really no way she can come back unless she starts a whole new campaign which at this stage of the game is impossible.

I said to my wife last April that Obama was going to be our next president. Poll after poll told me a different story so I lost hope in that. I now realize that people had not met the man named Barak Obama so they were not where I was with my decision. Now that they know him they like him. He will unite this country. We as progressives have to remember that this country is made up of a large number of ultra conservatives controlled by the talk radio machine. These people are Americans too. They talk show hosts cannot find a lot of negative things to say about Obama. He is an open book. Yes they are calling him the most "liberal" senator but they have nothing else. I believe it is going to be a land slide victory by Obama in November. He may pick up as much as 60% of the vote.

Yes he is in-experienced. But I would rather have an in-experienced senator than a DC money launderer. These people up in congress and the executive branch have sold this nation to the corporations. Decisions about this nation are made in an executive boardroom and then instructions are given to the executive branch of government. These people in Washington sold our country to the CEO's and it started Ronald Regan. The CEO's in turn sold our country to Saudi Arabia and China. We need to take our country back. Barak Obama does not owe a bunch of favors to large corporations. The only thing now will be how he chooses his advisor's. The right advisor's will mean a country that is once again a democracy. It will be a hard road ahead. He cannot sort out the problems in 8 years. So the president to follow will be very important. Maybe Al Gore will consider a run in 2016.

2. I enjoyed watching Michelle on Larry King Live ...
I'm very impressed with her intelligence and grace.

Yes, I think she would be a breath of fresh air ... a true sweetheart for a First Lady. :-) :loveya:

5. Aloha,
Many are not aware that Senator Obama was elected twice to the Illinois state senate where he served two terms, prior to running for and being elected to the US Senate.

Mahalo!

6. It's FAR from over. We still need to work HARD for Obama.
It is far from over. Hillary is shaking up her campaign organization, still has a lot of money, and will be able to fight pretty darn hard in the March 4th states. She is currently running strong in Ohio and Texas. Obama has a lot of work to do in those states. But if he can beat her in at least one of those two states and get very close in the other, she's going to have a very hard time. (Hopefully he can beat her in both of them.) If you're for Obama, the best thing you can do is ANYTHING possible to help him. Make calls from your state into other states for him, send a donation, etc. Obama is our strongest general election candidate. HE MUST BE THE NOMINEE !! Thanks.

7. I saw a delegate count assessment of the race on CNN last night and .....
They showed how either candidate would have to win almost every state left by HUGE margins to have enough delegates to win before the Convention.

Sorry to sink the boat but that's not going to happen.

(And I am a Obama voter)
