Handy Guide to who voted for FISA-Dodd/Feingold Amendment and who was a no-show
Edited on Wed Feb-13-08 11:17 AM by zulchzulu
Apparently the Clinton campaign is trying to pimp, I mean, spin the idea that Barack Obama did not vote for the tragic FISA-Telecom immunity bill that passed on February 12, 2008.

Here is who voted to "strike the provisions providing immunity from civil liability to electronic communication service providers for certain assistance provided to the Government":

Akaka (D-HI)
Baucus (D-MT)
Biden (D-DE)
Bingaman (D-NM)
Boxer (D-CA)
Brown (D-OH)
Byrd (D-WV)
Cantwell (D-WA)
Cardin (D-MD)
Casey (D-PA)
Dodd (D-CT)
Dorgan (D-ND)
Durbin (D-IL)
Feingold (D-WI)
Harkin (D-IA)
Kennedy (D-MA)
Kerry (D-MA)
Klobuchar (D-MN)
Lautenberg (D-NJ)
Leahy (D-VT)
Levin (D-MI)
Menendez (D-NJ)
Murray (D-WA)
Obama (D-IL)
Reed (D-RI)
Reid (D-NV)
Sanders (I-VT)
Schumer (D-NY)
Tester (D-MT)
Whitehouse (D-RI)
Wyden (D-OR)

6. Would 2 votes either way have made a difference?
Hillary would have been there if she could have made a difference. You can bet that she is on top of what's going on.

Edited on Wed Feb-13-08 11:48 AM by ayeshahaqqiqa
to note the Senators who betrayed the Constitution by voting to allow immunity. These include both my Senators, Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor. Sometimes I wonder why these two even have a D after their names.

Others:
Bayh (IN)
Carper (DE)
Conrad (ND)
Feinstein (CA)
Inouye (HI)
Johnson (SD)
Kohl (WI)
Landrieu (LA)
Lincoln (AR)
McCaskill (MO)
Mikulski (MD)
Nelson (FL)
Nelson (NE)
Pryor (AR)
Rockefeller (WV)
Salazar (CO)
Stabenow (MI)
Webb (VA)
These folks are ones we need to lean on to vote Democratic !

Edited to complete the list
