Rasmussen daily graph for 2/13/08 - Clinton down 3 (41), Obama up 4 (46) - Obama leads
A surge to the front! This is the first time Clinton has not led in this poll.

These graphs are all contained on one Web page at http://www.dvorkin.com/rastrack.html

Gallup now has a daily tracking poll graph: http://www.gallup.com/poll/104107/Gallup-Daily-Tracking-Election-2008.aspx

(Pretend that the 10 and 20 lines are actually 0. Does anyone know how to make Excel label different parts of the axis differently?)

2. Here's a discussion of the new poll ... link
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/daily_presidential_tracking_poll

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows—for the first time ever—Barack Obama leading Hillary Clinton in the race for the Democratic Presidential Nomination. Today’s results show Obama earning support from 46% of Likely Democratic Primary Voters while Clinton attracts 41% (see recent daily numbers). Prior to Obama’s Primary and Caucus victories last Saturday, Clinton enjoyed a six percentage point lead.

Daily tracking results are collected via nightly telephone surveys and reported on a four-day rolling average basis. Polling for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday has shown Obama with the lead each night. The next Presidential Tracking Poll update is scheduled for Thursday at 11:00 a.m.

Obama now leads Clinton 64% to 9% nationally among African-American voters while Clinton narrowly leads among white voters 47% to 43%. Clinton has a ten-point advantage among voters of other racial and ethnic groups (primarily Latinos).

Clinton still leads by four among women, including a twelve-point advantage among white women. However, Obama leads by eighteen-points among men, including a nine-point edge among white men.

16. Could be, if this continues
There've been strange jumps and drops before, in this poll. But this does look like something solid.
