5. Someone posted a thread - without a link - and was quickly dismissed with an AP
article saying McCain and Obama were there. I looked for that thread.
Interesting how the MSM, once again, makes shit up for its favorite boys.

3. Roll call must have gotten in wrong, because I was
watching C-SPAN, saw Obama on the floor of the Senate, and listened to the Clerk read the names on the vote for that particular information. Obama voted against telecom immunity and the FISA bill.

4. Does anybody on DU know the fucking difference between amendments and bills, between cloture
Edited on Wed Feb-13-08 01:00 PM by wienerdoggie
and final passage? Holy shit, what morans. Obama voted on the KEY votes--yes on the Dodd amendment on immunity, no to cloture (on the final bill). Once past cloture, it sailed to an expected victory. Give it a REST!!

8. Uh, no. It was expected to pass. He showed up and voted for as long as he could--was there
for hours. Miss Hillary couldn't be bothered, at all, on any vote, any amendment, nor on the final bill. At some point you have to just swallow that fact--score one for Obama.

9. Since he could not vote Present - he apparently hid behind a post.
I refer to that as "Post" voting - equivalent on the federal level to "Present" voting in Illinois.
