I just realized something today...
This is going to be the first time we elect a senator president since JFK.

6. more than that, one of the very few times in our history!
Only about 2 or 3 other presidents have been elected straight from the Senate. Some have been elevated to Vice President and then elected president, but it's very rare for a sitting senator to be elected president.

But when only senators are running... then I guess this year will be one of those times!
