I heard on NPR today that Superdelegates' votes are public...

...record. This means we will know which superdelegates voted for Clinton or Obama.

2. Yes, and something else everyone needs to recognize about
Super Delegates. From what I've read on the many DU posts complaining about possible Super Delegate votes, most are Obama supporters who are screaming "If the Super Delegates don's vote as the voters in their State, district, etc. I'll ....." The statements on what they'll do varies from never vote for Hillary to quit the Dem. Party. The problem is, Senators Kerry & Kennedy are both from Mass. where Clinton won.

I don't really think the Super Delegates are going to make any difference because I believe we will have a candidate chosen by the voters at the latest, April 22nd and the Pa. primary. But I think everyone needs to rethink their objections when they complain about the SD's. You can't have some of them support your candidate when it looks good and then insist they all vote with their State voters too.

4. I expect the majority of super delegates to switch to Obama if he holds his lead
And I expect that we'll read lots of "I think the SD's are just grand" posts at that point.

6. And for the record - Kerry & Kennedy should vote proportionally for Clinton...
Hontestly, that is the problem with the Super D's.. if you only have 2 in a state, and Obama won 65% - 35% - does he get both or just one? And, if Clinton wins California by 10% - does she get all of the Super D's from that state, or just half.

That's the problem with the Super Delegates, you can't split them up "proportionally by state" to the popular vote or caucus. If it's "winner take all" then I think Obama will win, because he's won a lot more states (if delegates chose to vote with their states majority).

This will be a cluster fuck if this is how it's decided.

5. Well because....

...I think we're used to thinking that voting is a private affair. Also, more than one person (including me) has thrown the question out about this over the last several days without an answer.
