I just saw Wilhelm on CNN. He didn't do that well when asked if he would switch to supporting Hillary as a Superdelegate if she comes out on top, but nothing new there.

I was wondering why every single article about his endorsement and there are many, use Bill Clinton's name instead of or with some of the more recent candidates he's worked with. It kind of looks like he's riding a 16 year old wave or....... coattail, maybe. Come to think of it, a few others have done the same thing.

Throughout his career, Wilhelm has managed the successful campaigns of Senator Paul Simon, Senator Joe Biden, Governor Rod Blagojevich, and Chicago Mayor Richard Daley. In 2002, Wilhelm directed Blagojevich's transition to the Governor of Illinois' office. Wilhelm also served as chair of the Illinois presidential campaign of John Kerry and John Edwards in 2004. Early in the 2008 presidential election, he served in an undefined role on Joe Biden's short-lived campaign

Kind of odd. According to so many people here & the MSM, the Clint*ns are "supposedly" so corrupt and so bad (always have been!!!III!!!) but if anyone who has worked for them in the past goes to another candidate, the whole world is alerted and it's big news and there's a celebration about having a Clinton Advisor or former colleage aboard. That just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I would think they take what they know and learned with them.

Campaign people leave corrupt criminals who have done nothing to help the country and go to work for the perfect & faultless candidate(s) who WILL change the world. Does that really ring true to anyone here?



Also, in reading all these articles, I didn't see one mention of FaithfulDemocrats.com. I could have missed it, but I don't think so. I would think he (Wilhelm) would be very proud since he's the co-founder. I wonder why it's not mentioned anywhere in the politics of this endorsement? Are they hiding something?
Let me say at this point, I have no problem with faith of any kind or religion of any kind. I grew up surrounded by it and still am..... surrounded by it. I don't like it dominating politics and the government of this country. I realize probably a majority of Americans like to hear their candidate is a member of some church. Ok with me. Most have been or said they were. I prefer they go to church on Sunday and go to work on Monday, but that's just me.
I would like to mention, this group has done a complete turnaround on this issue since the last election. Why is that?

My point is, we have just spent almost 8 hellish years due to faith based voters. Are we about to have it happen again? Will it be different? If so, how will it be different?

Just a couple of thoughts this morning. I would really like to hear some reasonable answers to my questions, but if that's impossible at this point, feel free to blast away.

what with faithful democrats.....and democratic supporters gleefully posting up hit pieces on hillary from rw spin machines like drudge....that we seem to be morphing into the repubs.....i really want to win in nov....but not enough to turn myself into the thing i've fought against for so long.....we've almost been reduced to raw sloganeering....we've turned on some of our oldest allies....and not just in the we agree to disagree way....but in that rabid dog repub kind of way.....more and more posters here are reminding me of the bushbots back in 2002.....the number of arguments of the...when did you stop beating your wife variety is off the scale.....
