Sheldon Whitehouse who beat Chafee has already endorsed Sen. Clinton
Senator Whitehouse who is a dem beat repub Chafee and already endorsed Senator Clinton.

I would rather take a dem endorsement over a repub anyday. Let's see which endorsement matters when the RI primary comes up.

8. What does Obama being "against dynasties" have to do with
Chafee's decision to endorse him?

Do you realize how desperate you guys sound?

15. The only reason Chafee became mayor of Warwick then Senator was because of his father.
He's a complete lazy ass.

Patrick Kennedy isn't a whole lot better, actually.

13. Chafee isn't a Republican anymore; He left the party.
And he lost because of that party label. He was actually better than Whitehouse on the issues.

How the freshman senator built the strongest case against the attorney general.
June 14, 2007

Sheldon Whitehouse sounds like a character who would be played by Franklin Pangborn, the fussy second banana to W.C. Fields in The Bank Dick. The secret of Whitehouse's success, other than being telegenic by C-SPAN standards, is that he seems to recognize that, when it comes to public Gonzales-bashing by Democrats, less may be more ..."

Formerly, and in dubious standing even then.
