Without change there will be no solutions.
Does anyone really think without changing Washington politics, without engaging the American public to rally around the common good that any solutions for our big problems (social security, bad schools, global warming, jobs leaving the country, etc.) will take place?

If Clinton could even win in November (a very long shot), she could not govern. The Republican representatives and Democratic representatives from red/purple states would be flooded by their constituency to vote against any Clinton agenda and once again NOTHING would get done for the American public.

A President can only rally the public and move forward their agenda if the American Public trusts them and likes them. There are too many people who distrust and dislike the Clintons (and this distrust and dislike is not limited to the Republican Party).

1. Hillary would not be able to pass any progressive adgenda because she opposes progressive
policies. We have to elect true representatives in such numbers that the we can pass the reforms and changes regardless of the president.

3. Bingo, bingo and double bingo. I can't imagine this very simple principle hasn't
dawned on all the people rallying around their 90s candidate. Just the sheer size of Obama's support and the magnitude with which they will be engaged will make the People's Voice impossible to dismiss anymore. It WILL change the face of D.C. and America and the world.

4. You just have to "HOPE"...
Obama supporters get slammed every day for beliving in his "Hope" spin, but Clinton supporters are ironically doing exactly the same thing, but with much less likelyhood of success.

They're HOPING that Dems control the House & Senate.
They're HOPING that people who hate Clinton get over it.
They're HOPING that republicans just reach across the aisle and agree on democratic legislation that they've previously despised.

Right now they're just HOPING she gets elected, so they can figure the other stuff out later.

Hillary can have the greatest ideas in the world - but in politics, if even 49% hates you, you're not going to get much accomplished. That's something she will face when she's "ready to go" on day one. She's not going to be going very far at all IMO.

Talk about a Lame Duck Presidency in the 1st Term....

5. Great point. Though I think you'd have to have more than hope
to believe that Clinton would be able to get anything done and to believe that she would not DECREASE the number of elected Democratic officials.

Talk about a fairy tale......
