14. No they don't. Not if they aren't as good as the other candidate is at it.
Such nonsense.

15. Wow, you are making yourself look bad now. It is the "Hail Mary" of politics
It isn't that she is good at it (although I must admit Hillary is good at it). It is a chance to play "Gotcha".

I don't think it will work this time. In California Hillary did very well but it wasn't that big a help. It was pretty much a tie and his numbers have continued to rise while hers have continued to sink. Maybe it slowed the change but it did not stop it.

3. And its the job of that candidate's supporters to call the other candidate a coward.
ect ect even though they know refusing debates is sound political strategy.

Politics is a stage, there are no morals.

9. Actually, it's the person who is articulate without notes and thinks on their feet.
When Bush senior was losing to Bill Clinton, he was dodging debates. I think the polls were already in Clinton's favor. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Clinton was the newcomer who needed to prove himself. Obama is that now, but knows he can't win without basing his whole campaign on pre-written (by someone else by the by), not to mention pre-masticated speeches.

16. There were 3 debates in 1992
So the fact that there has already been 18 debates with 2 more to come makes whining about the 21st sound really desperate.

11. I can't believe some of you don't know this is such a basic of campaign
"law". If you're losing or you're out of money (or both), you beg to debate the FRONTRUNNER. Not the other way around. Okay wait, I forgot. The polls DO show that HRC supporters are less well-educated than Obama supporters. That would explain a few things. So let the more intelligent of us school you on this. Basic law of political science--if you're in the lead, you don't have to debate. If you're losing, you desperately want to debate. Got it?
