Is it time to restrict or ban polls?

Endless saturation polling does not do any service to the nation. We need Poll Control legislation to rein in the insane, obsessive pollsters.

1) One poll per month, per polling organization.

2) No polls may be conducted 72 hours before an election.

3) All state polls must sample at least 1000 respondents. National polls must sample at least 2000 respondents.

4) Pollsters must make raw data sets of their polls available to all online.

For that issue, I disagree, and I'm going to go waste one of my 3 threads on a poll. It'll be kinda funny but will probably enrage a minor section of DU.
