Now all I needed was Edwards to stay in, win at least 15% of the vote and get about 14000 more votes myself to get a chance to go to the Convention.

So close.

1. Stoic you did an amazing job bringing in 900 votes for
a candidate that suspended his race. Can you tell me what will happen to those votes?

2. Nothing.
He didn't get 15% of the total so he gets no delegates in MD.

3. And for your hard work, you deserve a heart.
;)

Thanks for doing your part to make things better for all of us. I really wish John Edwards would be our next President, things would be so much better for us all than they're going to be.

4. Good job!
How many other folks were running for the position? I am curious. I want to be an Edwards delegate in 2016. ;)

5. Heh,
I met the head of the Texas delegation at the last convention and he said they all were Dean delegates but had time to switch to Kerry after Dean dropped out.

I knew somebody who knew somebody who did a google search on me to see if I was the "right kind of Democrat". It probably helps that I'm listed in MD-VAN (the voters database) as a Democratic Activist.

AFAIK, the Edwards campaign under-listed delegates in MD both in 2004 election and this year. Don't ask me why.

AND, in 2016, I want to be a Dean delegate (as much as I like Edwards).
