We ate the bait, now here comes the switch!
Now that Hillary is all but out of the way, we get a taste of how they are going to "take care" of Obama...

McCain scolds Obama on campaign funds
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080215/ap_on_el_pr/mccain

The media is now going to give Obama what they have been holding back on. They are going to kiss McCains privates while bashing the swarthy newcomer.

All the stories are going to be about Obama's "challenge to the status quo". My prediction is that even the "Africanized killer bees" will make a scare comeback.

But it's OK. I believe in Hope and Change and if we lose in 08, I'll stand by Obama's runs for 2012, 2016 and 2020. Like I have always said, it's more important to make a statement than it is to win, right?

8. yes you got it
and the main point is that they have had kid gloves on for Obiggity. So this isn't "all they got".. this is just the beginning. And I point out, based on history, they they don't have to "have anything"... they can do it purely on lies that they won't bother to debunk. Like how "Kerry shot himself to get a purple heart for his presidential run". Bend over and get ready.

We would have been better off with a safe running game for first down instead of a failed Hail Mary pass...

9. Keating Five! Keating Five! Keating Five! Keating Five! Say it every time McCain comes up!
Say it until everyone knows what it is.

This little slimey bastard was in bed with some disreputable types, and the dirt is gigantic.

7. So let me get this straight, McCain is upset that Obama...
is not yet willing to declare himself the Democratic nominee and lay out the financing terms for the general election?

Obama is right not to have this discussion now. He's not the nominee yet, for chrissakes. Wouldn't that be just a little disrespectful to Hillary?

10. Welcome to politics
Of course the dynamic is going to change during the general election. I don't know anybody who would think otherwise. Any candidate we're going to put up will be smeared in some way, it just comes with the territory.

11. Who gives a shit? How is this even a criticism? They'll cross that bridge
if and when they come to it. McCain is just trying to stay in the news cycle.

13. /Yawn
If you think that is going to excite anybody but the inside the beltway people then you are way off track. This is McCain's tactic of trying to level the money playing field. Why should Obama do that? He will have at least 3x the money most likely to wage a modern campaign with then McCain who will be forced to take public funds. To hell with that-This issue is a non starter and will make the McCain campaign look broke every time they bring it up. Since perception is everything, looking broke is not a good thing.
