You know what I think?
I think if HRC does not win the nomination, she will become a much better senator...

She will blossom into the leftist I think she really wants to be but feels she can't because of all the triangulators she has hanging around her campaign...

I think she will be a far better Senator than Obama was or ever will be...

If loses, he will be looking more toward the 2012 election, no matter what his wife has to say about it...

And he will float over toward the center like most people who are running for president...

And have more of a record that can be parsed and distorted...

This is his shot to be a president who doesn't owe the world to every special interest out there...

This is the way I think when trying to decide between the two...

Because even if there are differences in their positions, they are at least on the same page when it comes to prioritizing what is important to the future of our country...

We really are lucky as Democrats this election cycle...

1. I disagree, I think if he lost and she won
he would be, as a senator, just as good as Hillary

3. If he wants to run again, I think he will become far more cautious...
Especially if he grabs an important committee...

2. You know what I think?
I think it would be a win/win if Clinton had her 8 yrs with Obama as VP, then Obama could have his 8 yrs as Prez.

We, would have a united party and 16 yrs of a Dem Prez. Now what could be better than that?

4. Now that would be the ultimate outcome....
But I can't see Obama taking the VP...

Even though it would give him great political position...

I would love to see that...

5. Why would Obama take the VP spot knowing he's ahead right now?
If Obama were losing, I could see it, but he's got a far better shot of winning the nomination than Hillary, which puts him one election away from winning the presidency.

11. For our party as a whole (not just one single man's ambition),
16 years of a Dem White House would be a good thing for all. Would it not? I don't even want him as VP, but for 16 years of a Dem president I could live with it. Why settle for 4-8 years when we could have a VERY possible 16 years. This post is not about either candidate's ego or personal self interest. As a party we need to look at the bigger picture. And while we are looking at the bigger picture, consider making our history twice. It would not work the other way around because of Hillary's age, otherwise I would be happy to see him go first and her second. I am only talking about the almost guaranteed 16 years here. We, as a party, would be crazy not to want that, which is within our reach. When will we get this chance again???

13. What makes you think Obama feels Clinton can win?
I think there are many people who doubt this.

I think Obama stands a better chance against McCain than Clinton, so if it's for the better of the party to get into the White House, Obama should not step aside, because it could make it that more difficult.

6. Know what I think? I think a dog with a 20 year flea problem is better in this office than a repub.
And people better not lose sight of that. The republicans win elections. We need to win this one.

9. We need to bring some of these greenhorns along...the primaries are nothing
compared to the real deal, the GE. In the last 20 years all the Democrats have been able to do is move a chess piece here or there on the great big board of economics. Iraq included. I don't know that either of these candidates, Clinton or Obama are the political messiahs. But I do know they are are a step away from the purient totalitarian corporate drive world that we are fast approaching. Not good.

10. That's the bottom line...
We need to "scare" people about who they would put on the bench...

Not just in DC but across the country...

Who McCain would put in charge of the EPA, or National Health, or the Treasury...

The president has tousands of appointments...

Do anyone really think that McCain has a better pool to draw from than either HRC or Obama...
