Has the gap closed any? I can't find anything from the websites I'm "allowed" to browse at work (it's very restricted here).

1. Congress banned polls last week
To do a poll would be a felony punishable by two years in prison.

2. I'm waiting for IVR to have a new poll
The last one was from January. The guy sez he won't have a new one until later this month, which is probably a good thing.

3. Have you considered looking for them?
I've found that actually looking something up myself provides exactly the answer I'm looking for.

4. Yes, I have, however I'm very limited in the websites I can view...
...on this network. It's a military network and very, very controlled. It's only by a favor that I'm able to view DU. But, thanks for the snooty comment just the same.

6. It looks like the gap has closed in TX. Ohio is still stong for Clinton.
And Penn. is still for Clinton.

However, Mark Penn said she must be within 25 delegates of Obama after TX and OH. I don't see that happening.

8. Those polls are way off
Looking at that makes me think the polls are a crap shoot. :)

12. They are unreliable.
But, TX looks like a closed gap for sure.

13. No worries! Tekisui was kind enough to shoot me some info...
...And you're right. Tekisui is what I would consider the norm. The other poster, well, I really don't know.

11. The Ohio polls are in stark contrast to what I'm seeing on the ground.
Time for a new set of polls. Those are getting pretty dusty.

14. Do the polls Tekisui provided reflect any kind of bounce from the...
...DC/Maryland/Virginia primaries?

16. Please share your on-the-ground experiences!
What are you seeing / hearing? Where are you located? Etc.

I worked for Kerry in Cleveland in '04 (on my own dime) and it was a great experience (until about 9 PM election night, groan). I found the populace to be pretty well informed and energized. I can just imagine what it must be like this time around.

18. Happy to!
Now, I'm in Cincinnati, the GOP bastion of the state. But it's looking good. Here's my account of the first Obama Organizational Meeting in Cincy:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x4581891

On Thursday, we had a HUGE visibility in downtown Cincy for Obama and the response was overwhelming. Bus drivers would go by, laying on their horns for a full city block. Honking and waving galore. People screaming "OBAMA!!!!" from their cars. I've been a political activist for a very long time, and I've never seen anything like it.

And, while Clinton attended an invitation-only event at Skyline Chili with 200 supporters, Michelle Obama was speaking at Music Hall in Cincinnati's poorest neighborhood, an open-to-the-public event that drew 2,000.

Cincinnati is Obama Country. :-)

15. Who cares? These polls are totally meaningless this far out...
Wait until about a week after WI. I know, it's tough, I'm a poll junkie, too!

And be very careful of the polling methodology. OH, PA are open primaries, TX is semi-open, and Rasmussen, for instance, has only been polling Democrats, not independents and Republicans.

17. It's just that it's hard to get information while I'm at work...
...I'm in the Military and the network I'm on is very, very controlled. I was just trying to get a "feel" for how things are going, since those are the next really big primaries. I will say this, I've asked 37 people here at work who they plan on voting for in the GE, and 20 said Obama, the other 17 for McCain. If HRC gets the nom, it was 7 for HRC and 30 for McCain.
