7. it was revealed a while back
that sharpton had been accepting help in his campaign from a Republican operative, one who participated in the masterminding of the miami-dade violent stoppage of the Florida recount. For that, among other reasons, many find it hard to trust Sharpton.

5. How so?
Doesn't seem to be much evidence that he inspired lots of new voters to come out.

8. not new voters
but those who are registered to vote already . it's just as important to get those who would vote democratic and are registered already to actually get out there and vote as it is to try to get new people to vote.

16. Yawn away, it won't result in you getting your 'one to go' wish!
And regardless of whether you think his staying in is noble, those of us who long for something other than the status quo will keep fighting tooth and nail for him.

15. Let Sharpton
go down to Florida and get the Black vote stirred up. He could be a big help. The Repugs would never win Elections if we could get more of the African American voters to vote. Especially the younger ones

17. so it is down to Kerry and DK
who has already said that it is inevitable as to who the nominee is but he wants to influence the platform.

18. not yet
I doubt he will "drop out" but rather "suspend."
Also, I doubt he will "endorse" Kerry in near term.
