" Republican Gerrymandering Favors Obama In Texas "
"If Barack Obama secures the Democratic presidential nomination, he will owe a small piece of his victory to Ronald Reagan. Could there be a more delicious irony in an election season chock-full of them?.....

4. Karma comes looking for the Gerrymandering Judges who constructed the senate districts.
Edited on Sat Feb-16-08 10:56 PM by TexasObserver
I don't know if you're a Texan, madrchsod, but that incident was scandalous, and if there had been a Democrat running Justice, those judges would have been in deep trouble. There was ample evidence of direct, ex parte, communications between key Republican legislative leaders and the judges who put those things together.

They did Elbridge Gerry proud, and now, it's going to help Obama win Texas delegates.

10. Tom DeLay gerrymandered the federal Congressional Districts
The article referenced was about the gerrymandering of Texas State Senatorial Districts, of which there are 31, and which are the basic units for determining delegates to the state and national conventions.
