Are you ready to defend what you believe in?
We cannot let fear make us so cautious and so indecisive that we steel our hearts to our hopes and our dreams. We must march forward and be ready to fight for what we know in our hearts is true. In my opinion, we have an opportunity in the next election for a massive generational shift in our politics. Those that lurk in the shadows will be left behind. This is not just a "Democratic" movement. This is an American movement. Republicans, Independents, and Democrats will come out in a landslide unlike any we have ever seen. The old-time politicians will be sweeping up the broken pieces when this election is over. America is changing before our very eyes and the world will follow. Do not fear the path that has not been traveled.

it's hard for some people to break out of the mold. It is amazing how much my perspective has changed, from 'woe is me'..to 'this is a great time to be alive'. Imagine the possible.

5. Yeah, Just Like 2004 - so much "change"
Edited on Sat Feb-16-08 11:29 PM by BeatleBoot
I'm tired of Pontifications about how we're going to "go fight the good fight" and "there's a new day dawning"

You know why I'm sick of that?

What fucking time warp has everybody else been in around here?

What the fuck has changed?

Because we are going to fight a worse battle than in 2004.

Those that support Obama can blow it out their ass because after the Nazi Scum are done with him, there won't be anything left to vote for.

John Kerry was a War Hero and got eaten up like pirannha by these guys. Now we're sending in Odinga's cousin? After the attrocities in Kenya and Obama supported this guy?

Are you kidding me ???????

Has our party lost it's mind?

No more fucking idealism and tiny bubbles of "Hope" and "Change".

Fuck that. I want action by someone who can win the White House.

And it isn't the Democratic candidate that Peggy Noonan (Ronald Reagan's old speech writer) has endorsed.

9. I sense fear and caution in your post...?
And that was the reason John Kerry did not respond to the Swift Boat attacks. He was too cautious. He thought if he just ignored it, it would go away. Well, it didn't go away. It consumed him. Just as it will consume the next candidate that takes the cautious and politically correct path.

10. No Fear or Caution, here.
Guess what, Kerry went way farther than this guy ever will.

"Glass Jaw" Obama.

This thing was over before it even got started.

No Fear, No Caution here.

A is A.

It is what it is.

I just wanted a Democrat in the White House. No more no less.
