Now that Hillary is LOSING, Witness the Spectacle of Obama Bashing at DU.
Edited on Sun Feb-17-08 02:56 AM by NoodleyAppendage
Cognitive dissonance runs rampant among the Clinton supporters as their heads pop over the flood of bad news for their "girl." As evinced by the flood of anti-Obama threads tonight, we can expect a more concerted push by the Clintonites with far greater nastiness now that the Hillary campaign is slipping away.

1. None of the election will be decided at DU.
None.
Zip.
Nada.

But I'm enjoying the show.

2. Yes, it is all attacks on Obama, all the time for the past week or so...
I think that this is part of the updated strategy enacted by her new campaign manager. It looks like a concerted effort to bring up two to four particular Clinton attack points.

4. Yep. Funny how they all have the same talking points...hmmmm.
Notice the increase in post calling for FL and MI delegates to be seated for Hillary? It's an all-out war now that she's drowning in her own lack of hubris and anti-charisma. Oh, well...once she's gone from the campaign all of the plants will return to their day jobs at Hillary Headquarters.

8. It worked pretty well for the Clintons
he left office with extremely high approval ratings, and she got elected to the Senate.

If you really think she's losing, why are people being such assholes about it?

14. Why are you doing a victory dance in the middle of the game?
It's essentially tied. Your guy might win. He might not.

What I don't understand, though, is if you really believe your guy has it in the bag, why be an asshole about it? Is graciousness beyond your capabilities?

56. If Obama wins....
you're going to see sheer assholishness from some Obama supporters around here like you've never seen it before. There are people here who wouldn't know how to be a gracious winner if someone came along and instructed them. There are people here who are utterly hostile to the idea of graciousness and magnanimity. They are, to be honest, assholes through and through.

63. actually it not tied, Obama is ahead by more than 130 pledged delegates
and Hillary is bleeding Superdelegates daily.

She will not be able to win OH or TX with 60%.

The only ones who cannot see that her campaign is over are Hillary and her devotees.

She is not doing you any favors by prolonging this.

when you have a kid, last thing you want them to hear about day in and day out
is about the President (or in this case possible President's husband, first lady/man)
getting a blow job from an intern.

Do you honestly, seriously think that with an unpopular war, an economy tanking big time, global warming, the sheer amount of shit the Bush Adminstration has dumped on this country in the past 8 years, that the American people would give a rats ass about Monica Lewinsky again??!!??

Since Bill's approval rates went up when they were attacked.

Do you think they've got anything we've not heard a million times over years? NO, THEY DON'T. That's why it won't be effective. It's all old news everyone already knows.

Now, shit on Obama... that will be fresh and new to people.

Seriously, though. Why are you so mean in every post you make? Does it make you feel like a big man to just spew hateful shit at every opportunity?

Are you capable of actually discussing things without being so nasty? Can you form a thought and express it without insulting people? Is your only goal here to incite people through crappy behavior?

I guess they thought she was entitled, inevitable and all that other bullshit

Regarding the FL and MI delegates, if they go after them it will divide the party and the Republicans win in Nov, Really sad to see the Clinton political ambition (The Plan as they call it) put above the party and the country.
