I'm looking forward to talking about our longstanding progressive community here at DU, as well as the wonderful outreach I've received from DUers across the country who want to help our efforts for Barack Obama here in Ohio.

Should be a fun segment! The "More Me Show" hosted by DJ Downtown airs starting now (5:00 pm!) through 10:00 pm tonight. My segment should appear sometime between 6:00 and 7:00, but tune in for the entire show to get the scoop on DC Insiders and what they think about the state of the Democratic Nomination right now.

But DU is really a small indicator of the kind of real, kitchen table talk going on across America right now. What's important to remember is that, as ugly as it gets here at DU, many across America are only just now dialing into their true progressive feelings, while we've been at it for 7+ years now.

We were progressive, before progressive was cool. ;-)

We're just a collection of activists and we're more passionate than most. Sure, it's been ugly in the 'hood, but it's par for the course at DU somehow, someway.
