One of two things will happen in Wisconsin
I feel like one of two things will happen in Wis.

1) The feel we're getting from polls that Wis. might be competitive will turnout false and the state will go to Obama by a HUGE margin. In retrospect many will wonder if the "tight" feel of the state only served to Hillary's advantage to keep Obama in Wis. and out of Ohio & Texas; essentially keeping his eye off the ball long enough for her to establish a deep foothold in OH & TX.

2) The tight polls will turnout to be true and Hillary might even win in Wis. Unlike being in Iowa where I was experiencing the truth on the ground, I don't know about Wis. (it was supposed to be tight in Iowa ... I knew better, I was experiencing the ground swell of support for Obama first hand). Maybe there are a lot of people trying to make up their minds there. I don't know. The endorsements and vibe seem to favor Obama, while the polls tell a different story. Maybe she'll come away with it ... I hope not.

If Hillary wins Wisconsin it will be huge. Why? Because it's been marketed to be a given for Obama and a state that doesn't really matter to Hillary.

Even though the media has said she's basically given up on Wisconsin:

I really don't know how it will play out.

Anyone in the Badger State with a take from cheesehead ground zero?????

1. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that from my vantage point...
...Obama is going to solidly win Wisconsin with upwards of 8-12% by the time the votes are cast.

Clinton has no ground game here for the most part except for a skeleton staff in Milwaukee and barely anyone in Madison.

I'm going to go to the Clinton rally tomorrow night and report back. It should be interesting to see what kind of crowd is there.

3. Thanks
Good to hear from someone on the ground there.

Here in Iowa the numbers were all over the place, but I knew how HUGE the Obama support was and I saw the support on the ground.

Even as an Obama supporter, I was receiving phone calls and personal visits at my door as late as 4 hours before the caucus.

The effort was huge and it paid off.

It was pretty damn cold here too, but college students were out in droves w/ Obama signs on street corners.

It was some kind of sight here in Davenport, Iowa.

If that's what is happening in Wisconsin then Wisconsin may well prove to be the kind of diversionary tactic for Hillary this year that New Jersey proved to be for Bush in '04.

Remember how the polls showed things close between Kerry and Bush in New Jersey? What a laugh .. N.J. is deep blue, period.

I'm really interested in Wisconsin. If Obama gets a slam dunk w/ both Wis. and Hawaii, she may not like the momentum Obama gets regardless of her lead time in OH & TX. She'll essentially be praying for Obama to F'up so she can ride his missteps to the convention.

Poor tactic.
