The 50 megaton device of the 08 campaign.
They say that an issue's toxicity is based on two factors: Its absolute importance to the average listener and its immediacy.

Okay, pegging the dial on both axes, I present the scariest, most damaging thing that could happen to free market politicians of every stripe.

Imagine the revelation that a few million Americans may have been exposed to Mad Cow due ultimately to lack of inspections that let through 38,000 cows it should not have. Inspections that the ** administration actively sought to prevent for corrupt reasons.
As in the Kansas plant that was going to voluteerily test 100% of its meat, and was barred from doing so by the USDA?

Would that put impeachment back on the table?
What would that story do to Karl's permanent wide-stance majority?

2. Yes, the unfolding of this story
will hit the wide stance party like a ground burst at the company picnic.

But it is imperative that the Dem speechwriters for both Barak and Hillary need to get on this puppy and be the one associated with the revelation of the real severity and cause to the public at large.

5. Good point, time me.
Perhaps millions of schoolchildren have been exposed to a potential brain destroying disease spread by cattle that should have been inspected based on the inability of the cattle to walk on their own at time of slaughter.

The Republican Bush administration has actively blocked efforts by beef processors to tighten their own inspection standards against Mad Cow Disease. We oppose this, and demand safe food for American tables.
