Senator Edwards KNOWS that Governor Deval Patrick ENDORSED Obama: The "plagiarized speech" meme...
Edited on Mon Feb-18-08 01:54 PM by CorpGovActivist
... is doing nothing but pushing Edwards closer to endorsing Obama.

After all, Edwards knows that it is extremely common for gifted speechwriters from one campaign (e.g., Deval Patrick's) to be loaned to another (e.g., Obama's).

And the inept yammering of Clinton supporters, trying to make this a fabricated "issue," reeks of a sore loser's desperation.

The http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoTlNF2KNBw">Deval Patrick endorsement may be viewed here. Looks to have taken place on Boston Common, on the bandstand.

Keep yammering, desperate Clintonites.

1. So if someone 'endorses" you, it is impossible to plagerize them? Who knew?

2. No. It simply means that the likelier answer here is that there has been a campaign staffer ...
... loan, with a winning line recycled from a prior campaign - with permission.

22. According to the original post, it's all right to "borrow" from a supporter.
Hillary didn't actually claim "caged bird;" but since Maya Angelou is a supporter of hers, she should be able to according to the original post.

Our candidates have become so scripted and packaged I'm disgusted with them all. Hollow men (and women), spouting meaningless phrases to a public which can't hold a thought between farts.

Oh for the days of the Lincoln/Douglas debates! Stevenson and Eisenhower look like giants from the perspective of the 2008 campaign. I even find myself missing Richard Nixon.

hey why dont you use this, and then you use it, then yes in that case, which is what we have here, it pretty much is impossible to plagiarize them unless we utterly change the definition of the word.

But, honestly, his best bet for preserving his political cache with his supporters now may be to just remain on the sidelines, with his handful of delegates in his back pocket.
