Poll question: Is Barack Obama a Fraud?
That seems to be the theme of the night so far. Pushing around the Obama's campaign is nothing more than Patrick's campaign except for President, even though the 2004 Convention sheet easily disproves that. So I wonder if this is just a vocal minority, or do people actually think he is a fraud.

31. Bingo
I'm sick of politicians lying to us, trying to pretend they're perfect. We're trying to elect someone to be a leader, not a saint.

After all, W thinks he's Jesus and we've all seen how that's turned out.

Be careful that Bill O'Reilly doesn't bring suit against you. I believe he holds a current patent on the the myopic self-important jackass shtick.

8. This is the biggest NON-ISSUE since the story about Hillary not tipping/tipping too much
I'm tired of this BS. If someone wants to criticize Obama or Hillary, by all means, just do it based on *substantive* issues! They both deserve real criticism on real issues.

This does NOT qualify.

10. I remember when he said he just wanted
to figure out where the bathrooms were in the Senate. Then all of a sudden he thinks he is ready to be President. It is so obvious that people just kept whispering in his ear that he should run for President even though he knew he was just learning how to be a Senator.

Go Learn about his 2004 Senate run as well. Go read some of his books, learn about the Audacity of Hope and then get back to me.

33. Funny that some people answer yes
It's occuring to me that while he is being accused of plagiarizing Patrick, they were both using famous quotes that almost all Americans know. And they were both using them to respond to opponents who said words are meaningless.

By Clinton standards, anybody who quotes Jefferson or Kennedy or Roosevelt is a plagiarist.

42. Anyone Sayin He's A Fraud Is As Vitriolic And Misguided As Some Obama Supporters Are Towards Hillary
He's not perfect, and I think it was wrong for him to recycle that part of someone else's speech, but to say he's a fraud is beyond disingenuous and just quite simply wrong. Obama is not only not a fraud, but is also one hell of a great candidate.

48. It is appalling that so MANY on DU would say YES -- I'll bet a survey of ordinary Americans ...
broken down into "Democrats", "Independents" and "Republicans" would show lower percentages agreeing with the 'fraud' claim than on DU, where you would think there would be more support for a leading Democrat.

It really reflects how some intra-party partisanship has gone over the top (and yes, much anti-Hillary sentiment here on DU is also).
