1. Latte drinkers listen to those. We don't matter.
Plus, a lot of those shows are broadcast in Red states, hence listened to by voters who don't matter.

3. I'm not even clear on what a latte is, but I listen to those shows
almost constantly and don't understand how a campaign manager, who's flat out of cash, could do less than every s/he could do to take advantage of those shows, particularly during the primaries.

2. Schultz said just today that they've asked her campign a number of times
I think he said that they invited her about 5 times. Obama was on today answering about the "words" issue.

Rarely listen to his program since I prefer Hartmann in that time slot. But I did hear him mention this issue today on the car radio when I was out on an errand.

4. Yes, Ed was a Hillary fan, and often accused of being a DLC tool,
until he turned on Hillary for brushing him off so many times.

6. Is that the reason he turned away from her? His show?
I remember hearing her on as a guest. It was a long time ago and they were chummy and animated.

11. He pretty much said so, but I honestly believe there might be more to it.

All said, good and bad, Ed Schultz has changed a lot since his show first aired. We've educated him.

Ed actually offered all the Dems THREE FULL HOURS, but I think Dennis may have been the only one to take him up on it. (My memory has already faded.)

14. I know I thought he liked her too
he used to always say good things about her. I thought for awhile he was more into Edwards and since Edwards dropped out seems to be friendly to Obama. He still says nice things about the Edwards though.

I think part of what happened is he offered all of the candidates an entire show last year all 3 hours. Kucinch took him up on it. Edwards did about an hour of the show. I think Richardson was on. Obama was on but I don't remember for how long. But Hillary refused to come at all and I bet that started it.

I think it was because his fan base even though he was friendly to her at the time was more for Edwards and Obama and she would have had to take calls from them.

15. Thanks
I remember that Kucinich day, it was great. And then Edwards and Richardson spent some time on the show, too. It was a generous offer.

I've heard Biden, Dodd, Kicinich, Gravel, Edwards & Richardson, but never the two finalists.
