The last time we got so much "support" from independents and GOPers we also got Joe Lieberman.

Be careful what you wish for, folks, and question just who will be holding all those IOU's.

1. Lieberman won in Connecticut thanks to Obama's support.

There were also others who campaigned for him, but Lamont was the new guy on the block, and since Obama was fairly new on the scene, also, I think it would have tipped the election for Lamont if Obama had initially campaigned for him. Just more of Barack's willingness to reach across the aisle and keep a DINO in Congress.

Obama is the candidate of expediency. Believe me, if McCain wins, Obama will try again in 2012, no matter what his "rock" says.

McCain has a very strong chance of winning. I've noticed that photos of him on web sites and magazine covers portray a very strong image, paternal yet warrior like. Compare that to Obama's winsome and insipid "Yes we can" image. McCain will counter with "We already have."

Mcain onstage in a debate next to Obama will contrast nicely between old politics and new change. Noone will even have to point out that Mcain is an emotionally unstable physcho.
