Plagiarism; The Clinton Camp Was Hoping For A "Macaca Moment"
It's kind of fizzling out, now but it did semi-work as a distraction from Bubba's meltdowns over the weekend & Chelsea's "clairvoyant" crack. I guess we can look forward to some similar outrageous & indignant charges(s) to come just prior to the March 4th primaries. Should be fun.

2. Her whole campaign is a macaca moment.
Let's see, there was Bill's comments, her "naive" comments, her comments on Obama's "Kindergarten essays," running out of money, predicting the campaign would be over on Feb. 5 and not fielding offices in upcoming primaries.

I can go on.

4. Of course...
The Macaca Moment reminded people that George Allen has a history of racist associations and statements.

Plagiarism-gateOMGZWTF reminded people that Obama and Patrick play XBOX360 and high-five over being excellent public speakers.

11. "Macaca Moments" only work if they play into a preconceived notion in the minds of voters.
In the case of George Allan, it played into a perception of smart alecky meanness that had been exhibited before. OTOH, Obama has not made any claims about any of the phrases in question. It was pretty much campaign boilerplate and will be seen as such. The caca is on the Clinton campaign for making a mountain out of a mole hill and then having blowback that revealed that they are just as vulnerable to charges of using "borrowed" material. It's a classic case of glass houses and stone throwing.
