Macnutty: ethics and judgement problems. Not the sex thing.

The NYT story is being flogged by good old KO. But, the MSM buzz is that it is too old and will have no legs.

KO could not have had time to read the article and he is missing the point. The "ethics" man has big flaws.

So what if it’s not specifically the Vicki-gate story that takes off.

There is one aspect of the story that should have legs and should give anyone voting for him cause for alarm.

The guy is reckless. he is too arrogant. Another repug who is never wrong- we just had 8 years of that crap. Do you want his finger on the button at the WH?

The story also brings out this guys brushes with special interest groups.

The story maybe bigger than the sex angle and have real traction for the GE.

>>In 2001, he helped found the nonprofit Reform Institute to promote his cause and, in the process, his career. It collected hundreds of thousands of dollars in unlimited donations from companies that lobbied the Senate commerce committee. Mr. McCain initially said he saw no problems with the financing, but he severed his ties to the institute in 2005, complaining of “bad publicity” after news reports of the arrangement.<<

<<At one point, his campaign invited scores of lobbyists to a fund-raiser at the Willard Hotel in Washington. While Bush supporters stood mocking outside, the McCain team tried to defend his integrity by handing the lobbyists buttons reading “ McCain voted against my bill.” Mr. McCain himself skipped the event, an act he later called “cowardly.”<<

>>Like other presidential candidates, he has relied on lobbyists to run his campaigns.<<

Check out the fulls story- there's gold in them there hills.

1. THANK YOU!
Focusing on this non-sex scandal is fucking stupid. Focusing on his pathetic hypocrisy when it comes to special interest groups is what is important.

2. Give it time. give it time.....
the "sex" is what draws you to the story.....the ethics issues are the real meat you come away with. It'll be real interesting watching this develop over the next few days.
