The Miami Dolphins.

Just make sure get odds of 100 to 1 and don't bet over $10.

36. Since women are a majority of the electorate, I can see why she's not going to be elected. But
blame it on men if you want.

I figure most women (and men) don't see gender as a political litmus test.

There are a very few voters who want to elect the the vagina candidate just as there are few voter who want to elect the penis candidate.

Sorry to have to point this out to you. Look at the demographics of the WI vote if you don't believe me.

77. Do you
honestly believe that Clinton's support in white voters over 60 is because they're so much more free of sexism than white voters under 30? or could it be that racism is ALSO a factor?

76. /signed
Boxer would have my vote. Hell, Claire McCaskill would have my vote.
But for all the sexism that influences the electorate, you can't pretend that racism isn't as much a factor, if not more so.

Why aren't the white people over 60 voting for Obama? Is it because they're particularly enlightened, gender issues-wise?

And how many women are in the senate? How many Black people?

50. Hillary isn't running as a woman.
She's not even running as an individual. She's running as half of a power couple. So it's not accurate to say we're not ready to elect a woman president. What we're not ready to do is elect a woman who claims her husband's experience as her own. Because it's not.

If she bounces back in the popular vote, then my hat's off to her. If she does it by means of arm twisting superdelegates or getting FL and/or MI counted as is, then I'll keep my hat on and won't be happy with the whole party aparatus, but I'll be voting for the Democratic candidate in November because he or she will be by far better than McCain or any other current living Republican, for that matter.

72. Healthcare, Iraq, taxes...issues.
She's better than McCain and her constituency would want the things that I want and that makes a world of difference. I'm not hoping for a saint. I support Obama because I think he is a potentially transformative candidate in a way that Hillary would not be. But I'm 58 years old and I'm not going to be shocked if it turns out there's a little clay sticking to his feet either. And it wouldn't change my preference. At the end of the day it's where you want the country going. McCain wants it going places that I believe are deadends for the vast majority of us. Either Hillary or Obama would try to steer in a better direction. I just think that Obama has a better shot at getting us there.

Look, it's nice that you believe in your candidate and all. But the only way she can take the nomination is if she steals it through superdelegates. That's just the reality of the situation now.

It looks like Obama will probably be taking Texas, and that should be the end of her campaign.
