It's even more amazing in context. After all, why shouldn't Michelle Obama, a black woman, be overflowing with pride every day of her life to be living in a country where everyday folks like Bill flippantly use a metaphor alluding to violent racial slaughter of people who look like her? I'm surprised he didn't say, "You know, it's mighty white of me not to say anything that would hobble her chances with the electorate. And that's the Memo."
