CNN's Campbell Brown, who will moderate the debate, said that this late in the primary race, her challenge is to break new ground. "My goal would be to stay away from the horse race and keep focused on substance," Brown said.

The candidates will give two-minute opening statements from white chairs and then, unlike other debates that have featured a long row of podiums, Feist said, "they'll have a conversation.

1. This is a plus for Hillary
She doesn't seem to yell as much when seated.

4. Also..... when they're seated, Obama doesn't tower above her...
...this is a powerful subliminal image.

9. I can't believe you were ever an Edwards supporter.
Do you always have to say something unkind about Hillary? Can you say something positive about the debate in general?

13. That IS a positive.
Hillary has a tendency to yell when she is making a point. It is much more pronounced when she is standing than seated.

14. I disagree with the characterization of yelling.
Why not just say she raises her voice; why denigrate her with the negative word "yell."

My point is still, you never say anything kind about her and seem to go out of your way to insult her. Most Edwards supporters who now support Obama still have positive things to say about Hillary. I supported Edwards as much as I supported Hillary, and so it's difficult to see another Edwards supporter turn so negative against someone whose policies are aligned with those of Edwards.

I am not a fan of swamp politics. Edwards supporters also remember the SC robocalls.

20. And I remember Obama mocking Edwards compassion for the poor.
Whether Edwards was perceived as trite in his response is not the issue with me. He should not have been mocked for choosing that as a fault. Obama did it not once, not twice, but several times. How could this possibly be funny.

I saw more of Obama's character revealed in his mockery of Edwards than I cared to see. It's mean-spirited humor targeted against a good man. Reminds me of Reagan's swipes at Carter.

I am glad they will be able to sit. They are both exhausted - I hope the chairs aren't too comfy so they don't fall asleep. ;)
