RNC-- "Shameless Liberal Media"
Just received this e-mail from my friends at the RNC.

Subject line: Shameless Liberal Media.

The e-mail doesn't directly mention McCain, but given the reference to "New York Times" and a certain news-making article on the front page of today's issue I am putting two and two together.

Is the NYT story factually accurate? Who cares? It's just that lib'ral agenda at work!

Dear <TexasLawyer>

The New York Times has proven once again that the liberal mainstream media will do whatever it takes to put Senator Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama in the White House.

From the beginning of Campaign 2008, liberal media pundits have fawned over the Democrat presidential candidates while ignoring their lack of substance on the issues. You can be certain that as the campaign heats up they will continue to mislead voters with their anti-Republican agenda.

<TexasLawyer>, Republicans must fight back against the mainstream media's clear liberal bias -- and we need your help to do it.

Please make an urgent secure online contribution of $1,000, $500, $100, $50, or $25 to help the RNC get our responsible message of lower taxes, a strong national defense, and limited government past the liberal media filter and directly to the voters.

5. I have always said that if we truly had a liberal media, George W.
Bush would have never, never, never been elected to any political office, much less President of the United States.

7. damn straight!
The RNC wheels out the "liberal media" charge on those rare occasions when a mainstream news item makes our glorious leader or his party look less than glorious.

8. you mean, like sitting on the stories about warrentless wiretapping until months after
the 2004 election? Sitting on the story about how Bush was doing warrantless/illegal wiretapping on U.S. Citizens well before the excuse of the century, 9/11/2001?

The fact that at least one of the NY Times "conservative" writers was receiving bribes from the Bush administration???

Yeah, the NY Times is doing every thing it can to put Hillary/Barack in the White House ... :eyes:
