I have never seen the national media spend so much time on a topic that all of the reporters and pundits agreed was completely worthless.

I was amazed that Hillary decided to open up her claws and try to use it again, after the plagarism claim had been so widely discredited.

The audience probably knows a lot more about that stuff than they do, I mean politicians in general not Hillary. Seems like they try to squeeze that stuff in just to point out that they know about it, "hey I'm on the internet, I know about the google", etc and they end up looking dumb. It's especially bad when talking to younger audiences.
