Dallas Morning News: Clinton struggles to stand out, chip away at Obama in debate

I think Clinton did well tonight, but I do believe this was Obama's best debate and I'll readily admit, he's not a great debater (or should I say, master debater).

Someone on CNN mentioned how far Obama has come since the first New Hampshire debate 19 debates ago. I agree, he seems far more relaxed now than he did last year. For Clinton, she needed to define herself tonight and I'm not sure she did. It sucks when you're down and there isn't much time left, because you've got to hope for a knockout blow and most of the time, debates rarely register on the political scale. That benefits the frontrunner. Now it moves to Ohio and it'll be interesting to see how both candidates change it up. If Clinton has decided to play it safe, hoping for the best, but trying to leave gracefully if things don't turn around, I think it'll be a very tame debate. That's what I'm hoping for because I think it's time we stop petty politics and now look toward rebuilding this party and preparing for the general election -- whether it's Clinton or Obama.

8. Yeah, that must be the ONLY reason for the headline.
Gosh, why didn't I think of that?

7. I think I could even be relaxed on TV in the enviable position that Obama
finds himself now. He has the confidence of someone who's about to clinch. It's hard to go up against that.

I can't wait until the GE debates with McStain. Obama is going to make him look like Methusela.
