In Hillary's closing remarks, she seemed to be releasing her supporters to move to Obama if
they wished to do so.

I did not take last night as being the same kind of moment as New Hampshire's "tearing up" moment. In NH it seemed like she showed her more human side in an attempt to attract voters. Last night she said, "...I am honored, I am honored to be here with Barack Obama. I am absolutely honored." It seemed more than a standard line; it seemed to be a moment of recognition that he has become the more powerful candidate, a historic candidacy that she will not attempt to defeat by any means necessary.

Yes she was echoing past remarks by John Edwards, but when she said, "we're going to be fine," it seemed more like someone saying, "don't worry about me, it's o.k. to go on ahead without me." She was signaling to her supporters that are thinking of changing their support to Obama that they can do so without guilt. She sees this powerful wave of history, and although it's not the one she had wished to create, it is one that she will soon be joining.

Hillary for Supreme Court Justice.

1. Question: Do you pay attention or do you draw your own conclusions?

5. I believe she now wants the VP slot
Its always been about being the "first woman to be..." for Hillary, now that President is no longer a viable reality she wants to be the first woman VP.

7. Hillary for first ever female Senate Majority Leader....
...dump Harry Reid.

This will give us:

An AA President and.... if he names a female as his VP... women in the next three powerful positions in the government: Speaker of the House, Senate Majority Leader, and VP.

The right-wing in this country would go bat-shit.

9. Nah, I don't think so
I actually saw it as somewhat strategic, though definitely from the heart. I got the sense that she wanted people to think/know that she will bow out gracefully if the time comes, but by sending that message, she makes people feel the same sense of sadness as when Edwards withdrew, and since she has not withdrawn, perhaps that sentiment will translate into more votes. I'm not accusing her of being manipulative or anything, just saying that it seemed designed to make us realize we'd be sad if she dropped out before it's time to actually drop out. It worked on me...I'm definitely for Obama, but it made me realize that part of me would be sad to see her throw in the towel, though I do hope she does so graciously if warranted after Texas and Ohio.

11. I sent my mom that clip.
And she felt the same way.

She said she teared up watching it.

Got me started again too.

I don't think I've EVER been so passionate about an election as I am this time.

I just want her to win so bad.

This breaks my heart.

12. No she didn't. She just meant all candidacies were historical. But nice try.

If bullying doesn't work, try some snake oil.
Remember though - we are old. Seen that before.

"In a round of television appearances Friday morning, Clinton said her remarks were intended as "a recognition that both of us are on the brink of historic change."
