Was there a weapons check at the door?

I suspect No for the most part.

1. Not today in Dallas.
No metal detectors, nothing. Walked right up.

3. I went to see Bill in Tyler too.
They did not have metal detectors, but they did ask to look in my purse. They just took a quick glimpse, no real search. They did say No Umbrellas.

4. been twice
last May, Congressman Clyburn (3rd ranking Democrat) had all of the candidates at his annual fish fry preceding the state convention. It was held in a large parking deck. I commented at the time about the fact there was no security evident, although Clinton did have what appeared to be guards with her. At one point, all 8 were on the stage together, and I was thinking that one nut with a couple of gernades could have wiped out the field. A few days before the SC primary my 10 year old daughter wanted to see Hillary so we went to an event in a large hall. No metal detectors, and the only security I saw was a deputy with a bomb sniffing dog. I hope there was other security I couldn't see.

7. They looked in our bags at Yearly Kos
but all the candidates were there, so nobody minded the extra security.
