What a surprise this is, the sudden influx of so many posts barfing up rightwing bullshit, and
all of it under the guise of "concern about what the Republicans MIGHT say."

Some here do protest too much, methinks.

3. I owe you a PM. I'll send it tomorrow, because tonight I'm busy fighting off
the fucker who keeps stabbing my shoulder with the ice pick.

I'm going to ask you for a favor that I REALLY need for you to do, through your network of music people. I NEED someone to work on my Autoharp for me, so I can play again. I really do.

More later.

If Hillary Clinton had a chance in hell of getting R and independent votes, she'd be doing the same thing.

20. There's nothing wrong with that? Is THAT the Politics of Hope?
wow. I had no idea. If that thing is real, it's disgusting.

And it speaks a lot to the authenticity of this "different kind of politics".

wow.

Sorry, I can't think of anything wrong with it. And if Clinton could do it, she would.

8. that's great isn't it?
I know someone who has voted republican and is now voting for Obama. He is a policeman who grew up, and still lives in a very republican town. It's funny how one party can be so entrenched in a local government. I suppose that anyone who has ever voted republican can be seen by some, such as yourself as the 'enemy'. In my case I see him as my cousin.

I think that's great and I wish you all the best!

Actually, I have Republican/Conservative friends, but many more progressives/liberals/Democrats as friends.

Hey, I think that's great.

I think it is GREAT!

BTW, I think it is the American Public who has been screwed by the current administration, republican and democrat alike. We the people are in the same boat! But that is just my opinion. I actually have alot of respect for a republican who has come to find out just what Bush and Co. are!

15. Valid point indeed, IF those posts were made for that reason. Unfortunately, most of them
are absurdly thinly-disguised attacks from the Usual Suspects here, who will do or say ANYTHING to attack the candidate who is not their preferred one, or the supporters of that candidate.

Just read the posts closely; you'll find the lack of honesty where it exists.

16. Whattayou, nuts? It's not going to be calm for a long time, I'm afraid. Not even after the
Two Big Primaries. And, (I hate to be the one to have to break this news to you), probably not even after we have a Democratic President.

Some people are NEVER happy. And those people will be posting here; that's the one thing we CAN be sure of.

But the place would be boring if it were not so, yes?

22. We just read our latest "talking points" memo from Hannity or O'Reilly.
So, not all of us have had time to digest and "barf up" all of the talking points yet.
Give us some time to put it in "cut and paste" form before you complaim about it, okay?

My e-mail server has been down for some time today, so I haven't had time to spam the board yet with all of my "McCain's the One" theme posts.

Oh, by the way, we never use the term "influx" anymore, because it reminds people of the movie, "Back to the Future" - due to the influx capacitor that Doc built to send his car back in to the future - and that sort of leads us into a sticky discussion about the whole Michael Fox thing that sort of embarrassed Rush when he made fun of Fox's illness a while back. So, we try to avoid that term.

In fact, we don't use the term "future" anymore either. We only talk about the past, now that McCain's the One.

Edited on Sat Feb-23-08 01:04 AM by BenDavid
sand that believe the right wing is going to play nice with obama. If you think the clintons played rough with obama there will be no comparison what the right and the republicans and the rnc will be throwing at obama....

If I find some article from some right wing rag and think it's news worthy I will paste it in here to inform someone with common sense to at least be concerned.

Republicans haven't started to,all of a sudden, want to lose Presidential elections, they've got a plan. Have you ever heard The Fascicons say anything nice about a Democrat espescially a Liberal one ? They only like and say nice things about Phony Democrats like Liebermann and Zell Miller who do what the Republicans want.

So if you think it is fear we post then maybe someone better have some damn good defense against it, because the right does not like to be without power....
