Speaking of Cindy McCain . . .

Does anyone else think it's strange that she ALWAYS seems to be at John McCain's side, like an appendage? The other candidates, of course, frequently appear with their spouses, but they usually appear alone while their partners campaign elsewhere. I don't think I've ever seen a candidate and his wife so connected at the hip as the McCains seem to be.

It just seems odd to me. Does it seem odd to any of you?

"proud" comment. SOmeone at work asked me if she was "proud" of her man now.

the candidate that they are not in the main frame for the entire time. She, however,
seems to make sure that she *is* very much in the frame for every shot.

12. She Helps Him Everyday

Apparently due to his injuries he has a great deal of trouble with ordinary activities, like dressing himself. She does a lot of that kind of personal assistance. So, though I hold no brief for either of them, I believe that is why she isn't canvassing half the country while he's doing the other half, the way most political couples work.

I have no idea why Mrs. Huckabee hovers around her guy...she's definitely one without the shyness gene!
