We're Out'o Doughnuts! Make a Donation to Hillary Today!
Anyone else find this article funny. They must be out of anything interesting to report. I think if she spent more money on the advertising instead of doughnuts and bad punchline advisors, she would have had the ability to pay her staff and compete.

I heard a rumor on the local radio here in Boise, from the guy who helped run Mondale's campaign, that the reason that Hillary is out trying to raise lots of money is because she is in debt and doesn't want to end the campaign that way.

Don't know if that is true. But it sure would make sense to me.

Why is so much emphasis on haircuts and doughnuts, not the issues?

34. you're right.
it's the idiotic paying of $33,000,000 to consultants who've been driving her campaign into the ground that's mind bogglingly stupid, not the minor stuff. That's a full 1/3 of what she's raised. But hey, I guess if you're a Mark Penn fan, it's money well spent!

Penn and co. have been disasters. She could have gotten a lot better for far cheaper.

Hey, did you ever think we would have an exchange where the subject line was "you're right" for each? ;)

5. Yes, Obama people use the truth and Clinton people tell lies see how that works
Hillary spent approx. 1300 dollars in one month on donuts, we know that to be true she has released the documents.

Barack is not a Muslim, we know that claim to be false. He has been going to the same church for years, also he was raised by Christians. His father left when he was 2.

See how that works?

Distortions and lies are what Clinton people use

Documents and facts are what Obama people use

have a nice day

10. Well, seeing as you've only been here for a week, what would you know
about the ins and outs of this board? You spend some time paging through the archives, you'll get the sense.

If you're interested, which, frankly, I doubt you are.

Welcome aboard, will you be sticking around after primary season ends?

Battle seems to suit you to a T. I've been reading your replies and threads for several years, and this year has really surprised me, I've learned a lot about you from reading your posts.

I only defended the OP from your off handed remark.

I really haven't been enjoying my time here as much as I used to, before the primary season. But I still like to see what's happening in the DU community. It has changed and a lot of the old timers have really taken me by surprise. I never thought a lot of these people could become so emotional over their particular candidate. It really boggles my mind.

Take Care, MADem.

44. I only respond and defend against spurious commentary. I don't initiate.
Find a thread I have started about Clinton or Obama in the last month or two. Or more.

I haven't started any.

The OP looks awfully familiar to me. Part of the "February Team" perhaps? It's amazing how a whole bunch of people, an influx that is unusually large, can all suddenly decide to sign up at the same time. I think that's interesting.

That's all I'm saying.

I try to stay out of the tit for tat. However, when I see some of the disinfo, I will usually respond to correct the errors.

Right now I'm off to learn more about democracy and selecting delegates in the Lone Star State.

Have a good day, MADem:hi:

Obama $2.8 million, Hill $2.1 million. This is a figure that matters, not $1,800 spent at Dunkin Donuts.

As another DU'er listed in the forum - there's a list a mile long of people she owes money too. And that doesn't include taxes. The campaign is now suggesting people make their donations directly to those vendors as an "in-kind" donation. WTF??!?!?
