Just Think Only 10 More Days Of Clinton!!!!!
and she is done. We will all be shocked to hear her finally admit something on that Tuesday night when she "suspends" her campaign and she may even congratulate president-to-be Obama in front of us all...I can't wait. Then we all can get back to our primary focus-GETTING A DEMOCRAT IN THE OVAL OFFICE. I know we'll be seeing a lot of "I'll never vote for Obama" posts from the sore loser crowd but it's going to be GREAT to see this place and this party unified again. Hopefully after Obama wins both Texas and Ohio she shows some grace and quits.

1. It's because of posts like yours that I have no intention of uniteing.
If Hillary does not prevail, I believe we will have other choices before this is over, and Obama is not now, nor will he ever be my choice.

Too bad McCain was not in the same field as Gerald Ford, because I would go to work for him in the fall if it was an Obama v. McCain race.

They understand that for the good of the party it is impt to have a democrat in the white house this year or we will LOSE in the long run. Our party with be in disarray, we will have all conservative judges and no liberal judges. Pro-choice will be FUCKED. Worse, with McCain we will probably have a gazillion more wars. McCain is bat shit crazy do you want to risk that? If Hillary is the nominee I will support her. I've already voted for her before.

Her good supporters have already accepted defeat and are looking forward to 2012.

However, These morons and sadly sexist pigs in my view (One recently turned me COMPLETELY away from voting for Clinton in the GE if she got there) Are going scorched earth in my view.

To those bad Clinton Supporters I mentioned above: If you want to continue this crap Clinton supporters then you can expect not winning. The Clinton DU forum was dead some time ago and anyone with any sense knows you are a temporary upswelling of agenda filled punks or freepers wanting to disrupt things here.

Again yall bad Clinton supporters have destroyed any chance Clinton had of gaining my respect in 08 with your egging on of her desperation and scorched earth tactics. You make me sick! I look very forward to you leaving here when and If Clinton decides to ignore your stupidity and arrogance and exits gracefully to look foward to 2012. I guess yall plan to wreck it for her then to tho eh?

34. If you think that, you have absolutely no sense of perspective.
It seems that for the Clinton supporters, anybody who doesn't roll over and vote for her is "dividing the party" and "being hateful," whereas calling Obama a crack dealer, Muslim manchuran candidate, plagarist, lightweight, Republican, and "blacks only" candidate is just tough campaigning.

If you can't see that every significant bit of nastiness in this campaign came from the Clinton side, then you've drank the Kool Aide. Most of the vitriol coming from Obama supporters, whether it's appropriate or not, is out of anger over having been bashed, denigrated, smeared, and generally attacked continuously for months and months, in what certainly comes off as an intentional effort to simply beat down and demoralize Obama supporters until they gave up.

43. It's all in the eyes of the beholder
It seems to me that Obama supporters have been incredibly obnoxious since it came down to 2 candidates. I was (and still am, an Edwards fan), but went over to Hillary because she's a known quantity. I have great reservations about Obama, but if anyone tries to say that, they're attacked mercilessly.
I'm still voting Democratic in November, but I feel we're down to the two most vulnerable candidates either way. Hillary has an unrelenting foe in the pukes and they'd swim across the Atlantic just to vote against her, and Obama is too unqualified for POTUS IMHO.

I would think it was reasonable for her to believe she was qualified for the position. What she has a problem accepting is that she was out campaigned and lost a better candidate. Unfortunately I expect her ego to push her over the edge. I looked at the freeper's reaction to her melt down. Let me tell you they are loving it. They are enjoying watching her make a fool of herself and hurt the party they hate.

37. I truly.. TRULY
hope that (if the election doesn't get freaky with supers or other garbage... than) the people who claim on both sides that they will never support the other candidate leaves. It will be like having a republican booing section permanently in DU for the next year, and I don't think I can handle it.

I know I havent been here that long, and most likely don't have a right yet to say such a thing, but it will only cause more problems in the short, and long run. They will bash Obama/Hillary at every turn, and in the event the democratic candidate doesn't win, people will hold them accountable.

The people who say they will NEVER support the other candidate regardless are worse than the other side. They try and find ridiculous excuses.. petty excuses for their reasoning on both sides. We know it's not policy issues since both are about 99 percent the same on everything, and that 1 percent shouldnt fill people with such hate. So enough with the excuses of why.. we know why whether they admit it or not.

Just my thoughts on it so take it for what it is..

38. Know what's cool? all the Hillbots have used up their 3 threads BEFORE Obama's response.....
....which will be cool, calm, and collected.... in GREAT contrast to Shrillary's meltdown today.

41. ****CUT THIS OUT****
Edited on Sat Feb-23-08 03:56 PM by democrattotheend
What the hell is the point of this? Clinton has many passionate supporters here and this is just going to enrage them. In addition to the fact that you shouldn't be gloating before it's over, you shouldn't be gloating period. As a Deaniac in 2004, I remember how painful it was watching things spiral downward after Iowa...I was not ready to give up and neither are Clinton's supporters now and they might just be able to help her pull it out. Even if she doesn't win, we need her supporters in November, and threads like this don't help.

Posts like this make our candidate look bad, and I hope you will consider deleting it.

47. Another sane Obama supporter...thank you
You guys are sadly rare on these boards. I know there are many good ones, who are either silent or quickly drowned out by the nutjobs who want to promote "unity" by demanding everyone support Obama RIGHT NOW (or else?).

You're right, Obama's campaign does need us. I try not to let any candidate's supporters influence me, but sometimes it's very hard. I have enough problems with Obama himself; nasty supporters don't help.

That said, I'll vote for Obama if he's the nominee. How much I'll actually support him, other than my vote, remains to be seen. The way it looks right now, it's very likely I'll just hold my nose and vote.

49. You obviously must have missed the past 3 months of
continuous propagandizing and bashing whoever is in her way by the "operatives' who a LOT of us suspect were sent here to work on us every day with fundraising threads like "I just donated to the Hillary campaign and IT FEELS GREAT!" shit like that. How stupid these people think we are is frigging insulting. I was an Edwards supporter and THESE people turned me into an Obama supporter-THEM-THEY did it not Mrs. Clinton-along with her war-mongering votes

that don't use pejoratives to describe Clinton backers nor post juvenile, divisive OP's.

68. I'm a "lowly Obama supporter" and I find you to be a childish embarassment
So what if some Clinton supporters were rude or overbearing (and some were and some weren't). Its no excuse for you to act like a classless, childish oaf. WHich is what you are doing with your OP.

Like I said.

48. It's always amusing to see the Obama "children",
apparently maturity doesn't enter into the equation, advocate for their guy by calling for a united party while constantly starting incendiary posts that only cause more division and discord.

Obama is just another politician and soon enough some of you will find out the hard way that he's no better than anybody else who came up through the Chicago Southside machine.

Keep insulting and disrespecting, both senator Clinton and her supporters, and see how many actually will vote in November or even switch their vote to McCain. A lot of the people that you keep insulting are lifelong Democrats who are utterly disgusted how Hillary was treated by the left of the party and won't soon forget it.

76. you know we all come in here in hopes of being fair and
balanced and then read crap like this and we clinton supporters are to do what if obama wins? Just forget all this shit you folks have said about a decent woman and a former president? Personally, I have posted in the thousands of times and never have written such hatred with vile and contempt towards obama as some obama folks have towards HRC......

one or two things will happen. Obama will keep on lying about hrc and getting away with it and maybe we hrc supporters in some key states will just sit our asses home on November 4th and watch this "second coming" burn out like a comet.....or give us reason to vote for obama....

And just like bush the whore media again will help influence who the hell is elected president, and like bush, obama will be a failure too....and when you obama people see what a complete fuckup he is then you can take pride in knowing you help set the democratic party back after his 4 years are up at least 8 years or more.....

How will Obamanation make nice with the Hillary supporters, now that you, the MSM, and the RWers (who have been at it for 16 years) have shat all over us.
