I was in Tyler, Texas today
At the corner of the busiest exchange in town--Broadway and the Loop...there were quite a few Huckabee supporters sporting signs...and one large one that said "Honk for Huckabee". The roads were packed. There wasn't any honking.
On the other side of the road (the Mall side), there were Hillary supporters.
It looked very much like the Young Republicans and the Young Democrats had something going.
Was very refreshing to see.

2. Two losing teams across the street from each other..... meanwhile, elsewhere....
The two nominees and their supporters were hard at work.

4. You are an asshole
You applaud the kids marching for THEIR candidate (as long as you think it is Obama), yet you discount THESE kids for standing out on a busy intersection representing THEIR candidates.
WHat a piece of work you are.
Obama's supporters don't work ANY harder than those kids were. Jerk.

10. Still, it's true.

Yes, the truth could have been delivered with some recognition of the underdog candidate supporters, but that doesn't change the reality of the situation. Neither Huckabee or Clinton will be the next POTUS. (I'm not saying they won't ever. Just not this time.)

I'm an Edwards supporter that has accepted the Obama surge for change.

And I do appreciate your observations. Thank you. Do keep them coming, HWNN.

12. The POINT of the story is..#1--it isn't ALWAYS about winning and losing
and it isn't ALWAYS about Obama.
These were YOUNG adults involved in the political process.
Can't you fucking obamites just let SOMEONE else have a little credit, even if it doesn't fucking include YOUR candidate??

14. OK.
WTF is an obamite and how did I become one? I'm not so sure about that, but with your approval, I hope that I can still vote for my preferred candidate. I promise to keep my choice to myself if you will do the same. :)

7. OK, y'all drove me to it... GET OFF YOUR ASS.
If you don't like where the party is headed, get in on the ground floor. Volunteer for the campaign of your choice. Become a precinct chair. For God's sake, do something.

5. Last Sunday the guy that delivered my pizza said he was a Ron Paul supporter
My car has an Obama bumpersticker and he saw it when he walked up to my door. I just smiled, cause I was hungry. But really I wanted to bust out laughing. lol.

6. Heading up 37 South going to Tyler
I saw some "interesting" political views. Around Winnsboro there was about a mile stretch of Ron Paul signs about 3 ft from each other (I guess in case someone were to miss the first 50  ) and then around Quitman there was a "Vote For Willie" sign.

8. Tyler has always been a conservative stronghold
I had a 2nd aunt that lived there many years ago.

I wonder how Huck will do in Texas, my brother said he saw a lot of
Huck yard signs in his area of Austin and not many McCain signs.
He lives in an expensive school district of Austin.

I hoping that McCain's new trouble will hurt him, because Huck
on the ticket will kill any chance of the repugs capturing any state in the union.

9. I have heard unofficially that Huck will do pretty well here
It will be interesting to say the least.
Bill Clinton was here a week or so ago, Huck has been here, McCain is coming...but I don't think Tyler is big enough for Obama to concern himself with.

11.  Tyler has never been a democratic stronghold
It was rather a racist redneck town from what I remember. If you had hair over your collar
you were considered an insurgent for satan. But they did have nice Roses.:)
