Saturday Night Live
I just saw two clips of last night's SNL (the debate sketch and Tina Fey's rant).

Was the whole show just a Hillary love fest? What the hell was that about? That sketch annoyed me the most..if CNN is biased against anyone, it is Obama.

4. The debate sketch
skewered everyone pretty evenly --probably Obama less than Hillary and the MSM.

They certainly made hash out of Hillary "It was always our intention to lose Virginia"

16. No, they've kissed his a$$ several times......
Every time they take a shot at Hillary without taking a shot at Obama, they're kissing his a$$. It's disgusting!

20. Not true.
Even-handedness is not the lack of ass-kissing.

I'm not saying that there is no bias, just that your premise is faulty.

6. SNL needs a shakeup, other than the Tina Fey rant....
and the Huckabee guest appearance, the show sucked.

Huckabee was fricking hilarious.

14. I just didn't find either skit that funny.....
I like the character in milkshake, but the premise of drinking someone else's milkshake kind of ruined it.

The hot-air balloon skit was 3/4 of the way there, but just didn't deliver for me.

Just my two cents.

17. Tina seemed to highlight that Hillary had negatives which isn't the best way to gain votes.

10. the debate sketch was good, but
Armisen is a lousy Obama. His cadence makes it sound more like a black William Shatner.

Amy Pohler does a GREAT Clinton though. Spot on.

The sketch was obviously a parody of the media though. But I have a feeling that Tina Fey wrote part of that sketch, and we know where her bias is.

18. The skit should not have annoyed you; all the posts here that refer to Hillary
as shrill, unhinged.. that refer to her hair, makeup, breasts, etc. should annoy you.

Tina Fey did a great job highlighting this and you obviously missed the point.

Similarly, the "debate" highlighted the swooning that many in the media admit feel about Obama, mostly MSNBC/Newsweek.

No, the three people in the debate do not. Campbell Brown, after all, is married to a Republican operative, or something. But this is what satire all about.
