Does anyone else here have a feeling something bad was
about to happen? Just have a strange feeling tonight, not sure if it is political, global, national, friends or family. Just have a feeling something bad is about to happen.

1. Not to make light of your premonition, but...
the Oscars are on tonight. I've had the feeling all week. My purse was stolen twice in my dreams, and that usually means I'm going to have it rough financially. I don't think I've experienced anything but the kind of dread you describe since Bush has been in office.

11. ..
You give me great perspective at a time when I really need it.

"Don't worry until it happens"...

How true. How devastatingly true.

Rest assured; Shakespeare knew the topics of which he wrote. :(

one of these "feelings of dread" nothing happens, so thank you for permitting me to let it go. Maybe I am just tired.

8. Yes
I think one of the Oscars given are going to be a joke, and obviously corrupt, in the same vein as the scandalous Marissa Tomei award.

12. YES - to boost McPain
if nothing else. Have had the same feeling - if not soon, sometime this summer.

"Fear" works for both Geezer McPain and Hillary -- the matchup the GOP lusts after.

16. Actually, I Feel Pretty Hopeful
Not blindly hopeful, but I feel pretty good that people are really engaged in democracy and really want to convinclingly turn the page on one of the darker chapters in our history. Even the recent attacks by conservatives that Obama is not patriotic seems like a quaint reminder of the bad old days, rather than a cause of alarm. That said, it needs to be addressed properly because even hope needs to watch its ass.

24. Been incredibly antsy and agitated today.
Of course there are legitimate reasons, too much to do and too little time - but it's worse than usual. The last time I felt that way and tried to talk myself out of it, my grandmother had had a stroke that night. She recovered, but still. Maybe you're on to something, or maybe we're both just stressed for totally different reasons.

30. I had a nightmare two nights ago
It was about a natural disaster, though -- New Madrid going off. Had to check the news immediately to reassure myself that it hadn't happened. It's silly, there are no signs of any imminent catastrophe there or elsewhere, but it has unnerved me for two solid days now. I'm afraid that something like that would truly finish off this country.

33. I Hope You're Wrong
I've had those a few times over the years and I won't tell you what happened in the most dramatic instances.

Best wishes to you and your family, especially, that it's just a bad case of indigestion or a bad conscience-something that can be rectified.
