Hillary Should Forget Texas, Devote Her Entire Energy On Winning Ohio, And Go Out On A High Note
Edited on Mon Feb-25-08 08:41 AM by cryingshame
with at least one recent win behind her as she steps out of the race.

That is what someone who cares about her future career would advise.

And as a NY'er who has her representing me in the Senate, I do care that she keep some face.

If things get too gruesome and she gets too far in debt, she'll have a harder time in her next run for the Senate.

1. NYers should prepare a primary challenger
Her primary results vs. Obama show she's not too well liked here.

2. As formidable as the Obama Campaigns Organizing Has Been, I Didn't See It Here On LI
or hear about it anywheres in NY. I think he largely left the state to Hillary.

So it is telling that he got as many votes here.

4. I'm on LI too
In Nassau. Obama only had staff in NYC, and they were mainly fundraising and phonebanking. Everything done for Obama was bottom up. They printed their own flyers, ordered their own signs, organized phonebanks, lit drops, train stations, etc. Individual organizers did all the work with no help from his campaign. Hillary had all the county parties. Nassau County Democratic Committee organized 2-3 events for Hillary. The only people that showed up were county employees that were forced to be there. Hillary had nothing going on here. Also, Hillary sent out a mailer in her own state. She probably would have been 1-2 points worse if she didn't do that.
